"The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) published 23 inspection reports on designated centres for people with disabilities on 11 June 2026. Inspections covered centres operated by Ability West, Avista, Carriglea Cáirde Services, Cheeverstown House, CoAction West Cork, Corlann, Dundas, Embrace Community Services, Enable Ireland, and Zamab Care. Good practices were noted, including community involvement and person-centred care. However, urgent actions were issued for fire safety deficits at Zamab Care and Corlann, and staffing inadequacies at Cheeverstown House. Providers submitted compliance plans."
