"The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) published 28 inspection reports on designated centres for people with disabilities on 14 May 2026. Inspections covered centres operated by Ability West, HSE, St John of God, and others. Good practices were noted in many centres, including personal planning meetings and community outings. Some centres required improvements in areas such as risk management and premises standards; providers submitted compliance plans."
