"Ireland's Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) is conducting a health technology assessment (HTA) of COVID-19 vaccination strategies, requested by the Department of Health. The assessment will estimate the disease burden of COVID-19 in Ireland and evaluate the economic implications of various vaccination approaches. Vulnerable groups include older adults, those with underlying conditions, and immunocompromised individuals. The findings will inform future vaccination policy."
