"The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has published 50 inspection reports on residential centres for older people in Ireland. 25 centres were fully or substantially compliant, 17 were non-compliant with three or fewer regulations, and 8 were non-compliant with four or more. Non-compliance areas included staffing, protection, residents' rights, premises, food and nutrition, infection control, care plans, records, and governance. Providers must submit compliance plans."
