"On 16 July 2026, HIQA published 25 inspection reports on designated centres for people with disabilities, including nine thematic inspections on adult safeguarding. Reports cover nine operators. Good practice was found at some centres, but improvements were required at others, including issues with living arrangements and fire safety. Compliance plans have been submitted."
