"HIQA's 2023 impact report evaluates the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Directorate's activities. The directorate conducted core HTA, immunisation HTA, screening HTA, and evidence syntheses for COVID-19 and public health. The report documents outputs, reach, engagement, and change, highlighting support for national screening and immunisation programmes, clinical guideline development, and ministerial advice. A new generic justification of ionising radiation team was established in 2023. Impact is measured via an internal framework capturing short- to medium-term indicators."
