The antigen targets all coronaviruses, including COVID-19 variants and potential zoonotic threats. Early safety results in 39 participants showed modest immune responses, with a larger trial planned. The AI analyzed genetic sequences from surveillance data to create a broad-protection 'super-antigen'. Researchers are also developing AI-designed vaccines for influenza and Ebola.
