"The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) published 28 inspection reports on designated centres for people with disabilities on 28 May 2026. Reports cover centres operated by 18 providers including Camphill, Enable Ireland, and St John of God. Inspectors found good practice in many centres, such as resident-directed activities and support for education and employment. However, urgent actions were issued to Lightsky Ireland for safety risks and fire safety issues, and Lotus Care Limited for not responding to a resident's concerns. Providers submitted compliance plans to address required improvements."
